Describe how your business benefits the red meat industry.

Kuehne + Nagel has been involved with the meat industry for many years. In Canada, in collaboration with the CFIA, IE Canada, CMC and CP a recent major contribution to the meat industry was the solution we provided for air shipments to CFIA Seal requiring countries. This is important since as of July 1st, 2021, if exporters are not part of Transport Canada’s program, screening will be required on all shipments travelling on Cargo Freighters (Currently it is only for Passenger flights). Without Kuehne + Nagel’s solution, shipping by air would not have been possible. The solution also allows for access to new markets. Read more here.
