These one-day industry sessions are an opportunity for meat and poultry packers, processors, and related stakeholders to hear from government the current and future regulatory initiatives for the food sector. You will have the chance to ask questions and interact with government officials.

CFIA, AAFC, and Health Canada will be presenting the following subjects:

• Food Safety and Supply Chain Emergency Preparedness
• Food operational guidance and expertise updates
• Update on the CFIA ERA/IRA Risk Assessment Models
• Update on the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations and regulatory modernization initiatives
• International trade updates
• Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP)
